  • Parent Education (Divorce)

    Court ordered 2 1/2 hour divorce education workshop offered once a month

  • Co-Parenting Sessions

    Biological parents attend structured sessions with the goal of separating divorce issues from parenting issues. This improves communication and the best interest of the child is served.

  • Anger Management Services

    Anger management counseling is provided to individuals in a family systems context.

  • Play Therapy

    Play therapy uses the child’s natural interest and skill in play to master and overcome problems.

  • Fit for Life Partnership

    Chrysalis Counseling Center is excited to be partnering with Trinity Hospital Twin City with the Fit for Life Diabetes Prevention Program. This is a 12 week educational class that meets once a week for 1-1/2 hours followed by 3 monthly meetings, with the total program lasting 6 months. There is a fall session and a session that begins in January.

    Chrysalis counselors and psychologists provide motivational coaching as part of this highly successful, premier program, designed to guide participants in living healthier lifestyles. Trainers from Tuscarawas County YMCA also partner in this program to provide their services.

  • Chemical Dependency Services

    Drug and alcohol counseling is provided in a family systems context.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

    A brief therapy that helps individuals work through past traumatic experiences and present day fearful situations without having to repeatedly talk about the event.

  • Clinical Supervision

    Live and videotaped supervision is provided for counselors seeking licensure or clinical membership for AAMFT

  • Intensives

    This unique form of therapy is a 3-hour session during which breaks are given. Intensive sessions are utilized when a couple or family are in crisis or a family member lives out of town and therefore a longer, continuous session is necessary to accomplish more.
