Chrysalis Counseling Center is excited to be partnering with Trinity Hospital Twin City with the Fit for Life Diabetes Prevention Program. This is a 12 week educational class that meets once a week for 1-1/2 hours followed by 3 monthly meetings, with the total program lasting 6 months. There is a fall session and a session that begins in January.
Chrysalis counselors and psychologists provide motivational coaching as part of this highly successful, premier program, designed to guide participants in living healthier lifestyles. Trainers from Tuscarawas County YMCA also partner in this program to provide their services.

This unique form of therapy is a 3-hour session during which breaks are given. Intensive sessions are utilized when a couple or family are in crisis or a family member lives out of town and therefore a longer, continuous session is necessary to accomplish more.
